General:
1. Registrations can be made online or in person, walk-ins are always welcome! Payments in full.
2. All new students and clients must fill out and sign the Waiver of Liability form and the Client Intake form. (in person and online under Privacy Policy.)
3. Online classes and workshops must be registered online. A Zoom link will be forwarded by e-mail upon registration. *Check your tech tools and internet connection 15 minutes ahead of class.
4. Students & Clients arrival time 10-15 minutes prior to your class start time for the benefit of your practice, teacher, and other students.
We understand occasionally a late arrival is unavoidable. However, if you arrive more than 5 minutes late for an hour class or 10 minutes for a longer class, it would be too disturbing to your practice and the class to attend.
5. What to bring: we encourage everyone to bring their own mat and props. Suggested are a yoga block, blanket, strap, and bolster, a small pillow, a blanket, and eye mask, and any other instruments related to the class/event.
6. What to wear: we suggest comfortable clothing that will allow your body to stretch and move easily, and to relax and rest .As with all studios, no fragrance of any kind, please.
7. Health status: And, of course, If you are not feeling well, even "just the sniffles" please stay home.
8. In-Studio attendance is limited, for appropriate spacing. Pre-registration is strongly suggested.
9. Be mindful to put your personal belongings aside, shoes off and phones completely switched to silent, vibration off.
10. Young students: Our classes and events are designed for students 16 years of age and older. The yoga practice of a child is different from the practice of an adult. If you would like to bring your child to a regular yoga class with you, he/she must be at least 13 years old and you must follow the following criteria:
You must sign a separate consent form for each child.
Please place your mat next to your child’s in the back of the room by the door so you may leave quietly if needed.
It is the parent’s/guardian’s responsibility to watch over their child to ensure that they do not injure themselves or disrupt the class. If the instructor feels as if he/she can align them and they don’t mind, then the instructor will do so, but the poses in a regular yoga class are focused on students aged 16 and older.
If your child becomes a distraction to the class or teacher, the instructor reserves the right to ask you to quietly leave, expecting your full understanding and willingness to comply. If that ends up being the case, we will refund your money.
If you need to leave the class for any reason, say to use the restroom or answer a phone call, you must bring your child with you. We do not allow students under the age of 16 in our regular classes without a parent or accompanying adult and will not be responsible for any person that age.
Any exceptions to these policies must be addressed to the teacher/practitioner before class.
